Amazing Growth at New Beginnings Church

In 2012 and 2013, New Beginnings Church expanded its sanctuary, built a new fellowship building and added parking, since we were busting at the seams. Easter Sunday of 2012 (before the expansion began) we had a record attendance of 181. Since then we have seen attendance climb each successive Easter - 2013 (209), 2014 (232), 2015 (269) and this year was another record of 306.

Almost from the moment the expansion was completed our sanctuary was over 80 to 90% full each Sunday. Last September, due to crowding issues, we made the difficult decision to move to a two-service format on Sunday mornings. At first there wasn't much of an impact attendance wise other than the extra breathing room. In fact, there were times when I questioned the wisdom of adding an additional morning service. But God knew what He was doing.

Last Sunday, July 24, there were 221 people in service with us. Ushers had to bring some additional chairs into the second service to accommodate the people. However, of even greater value than the number in attendance this past Sunday were the altars that were filled at the end of the services. It is wonderful to see people responding in faith to the message and witness their lives being changed by the power of the Gospel.

I thank God for the staff and all the workers that make New Beginnings Church possible. Not only is God moving in our Sunday morning services, but He is also doing a great work in our children and youth ministries as well. Four students were baptized in the Holy Spirit last week at camp, and Sis. Julie said that the Sunday before that 10 children raised their hands in Children's Church to receive Christ. The hard work, dedication and consecration of our workers to the Lord are truly a blessing. I can't wait to see what God has in store for our future as we continue to advance His Kingdom! To Him be all the glory and honor!
